Dear Parent (s),
Attached please find the P.S.A.S. Student Aid Forms for the
2010-2011 school year. All families who are currently receiving
and/or applying for financial aid for next year must return the
completed form, fee, and 2009 tax return along with the requested
materials to Saint Hilary School by March 31, 2010.
To ensure that your application will be processed, please enclose
signed copies of all pages and schedules of your 2009 Federal Income
Tax Return, copies of all 2009 W2 and /or 1099 forms, copies of all
required Non-taxable Income documentation, and a check or money
order payable to Private School Aid Service in the amount of $21.00.
Sign and date the enclosed application and return to Melissa
Addleman in the school office no later than March 31, 2009. Please
keep a copy of your application for your records.
You may choose to use the online interactive PDF of the PSAS . You
may complete this form directly on your computer screen and then
print the completed document as well as save it to your computer
for your records. You will still need to print, sign and submit to
the school office with your supporting documents.
Your Student Aid form will not be processed unless the required
information and documentation for verification is provided by you.

For those families who will be renewing your application for the
Basic Fund Scholarship for next year please note that the renewal
forms will be available and mailed to you in April 2010. Please
contact BASIC FUND directly at
www.thebasicfund.org or phone (415) 986-5650. The mailing
address is 268 Bush Street, No. 2717, San Francisco, CA 94104. If
this is your first year of attendance, or you have a sibling
attending for the first time, you may pick up an application from me
in the school office or contact the BASIC Fund directly. You are
required to complete any BASIC FUND application requirements through
their office. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to

St.
Hilary School is a Primary Kindergarten – 8th Grade Catholic school
located on the Tiburon peninsula in southern Marin County,
California. Approximately 80% of the 270 students who attend St. Hilary are Catholic and the other
remaining 20% come from other Christian and non-Christian faiths.
St.
Hilary's is comprised of a hardworking and dedicated faculty
and staff. The ratio of teacher to student is 1 teacher to every
8 students. When asked what they liked about teaching at St. Hilary,
the overall response was "the strong, caring community spirit
that exists among the faculty and staff and the recognition for
their professional talents and support in their work".
St.
Hilary School fosters a process of growth that provides a strong
academic, cultural and spiritual foundation to meet the individual
needs of the students. Our curriculum builds upon itself to maximize
the potential for the mastery of foundation skills. Every student
receives a strong academic and religious foundation, allowing them
to develop their unique personal and intellectual goals.

Application
Process – Grades 1st through 8th
Application
packets are available upon request by calling the school office
at (415) 435-2224. Tours of the school and assessment tests will
be scheduled upon completion of the application packet. Families
will be notified of admission to Grades 1st through 8th within 1-2
weeks.

Application
Process – Primary Kindergarten and Kindergarten
Group
tours of Saint Hilary School are offered in October and November.
Please call the school office at (415) 435-2224 to reserve a space
for one of these tours. Principal Janet Lovette and Director of
Admissions Melissa Addleman will be available on the day of the tour and applications
packets will be distributed.
Completed application packets are due in early January along
with the teacher recommendation form and a $50.00 non-refundable
application fee.
Assessment
tests will be given in the later part of January. Please call the school office to schedule a time for
your child's assessment.
Families will be notified of Primary Kindergarten & Kindergarten admission in March.
Financial
Aid
The
financial assistance application is due in March. Please contact
Melissa Addleman at (415) 435-2224 for an exact
due date. St. Hilary School holds all financial information confidential
and does not consider it during the application process. For
