PLAYER CONTRACT

This player contract must be read and agreed to by signature. It is included here for reference purposes only. Your coach will supply copies and is responsible for collecting all signatures, or you can CLICK HERE to print a copy of this contract for signature.

• CYO is a program in which you can develop your physical abilities playing competitive athletics and learn to practice good sportsmanship.
  
• Opponents are your friends who make the game possible. Taunting, baiting, or rough play are not tolerated. Treat opponents with respect and dignity. Good plays by either team should be applauded.
  
• Referees are to be respected at all times. Never criticize or question the referee's decisions. Use athletic competitition, whether in victory or defeat, as a positive tool for self-improvement.
  
• Be a team player. Follow your coach's directions, comply with team schedules for practice and games and follow team rules. A player who engages in poor sportsmanship or a violation of the rules governing St. Hilary Parish CYO athletics will be subject to disciplinary action. Such action may, in appropriate circumstances, include expulsion from the CYO program.
  
• Good sportsmanship dignifies you, your team, and the game. Practice it at all times and enjoy yourself and playing with friends.
