PARENT CONTRACT
This
parent contract must be read and agreed to by signature. It
is included here for reference purposes only. Your coach will
supply copies and is responsible for collecting all signatures, or
you can CLICK
HERE to print a copy of this contract for signature.

The
CYO program reflects Christian attitudes and values of good
sportsmanship. Parents should be a positive example of good
sportsmanship and a source of support for your child and
his/her coach.

Opponents
make playing games possible. Your child needs your help to
handle competitive pressure. Help your child learn and understand
that taunting, baiting, or rough play will not be tolerated.
Good plays by either team should be applauded.
- Good sportsmanship
includes respect for game officials. Teach your child, by word
and example, to accept officials' decisions. Never shout criticisms,
questions, or instructions at referees. Inappropriate conduct
by a parent may result in that parent being ejected from a
sporting event. Help your child to learn to use competitive
athletics as a means to positive self-improvement.

Coaches
are volunteers. They give their time so that your child may
participate in competitive athletics. Be supportive by ensuring
your child's compliance with team schedules for practice
and games and following team guidelines. Assist and support
a coach's efforts to help your child attain the long-range
benefits of a rewarding CYO experience.

A
player that engages in poor sportsmanship or a violation
of the rules governing St. Hilary Parish CYO athletics will
be subject to disciplinary action. Such action may, in appropriate
circumstances, include expulsion from the CYO program. Help
your child learn that in CYO sports, as in life, playing
