What is the Annual Angel Fund:

The Annual Angel Fund is a tax deductible donation which closes the gap between tuition and the school's operating expenses. Tuition only covers 83% of the school's operating expenses and there is a $1400 shortfall per student.

Through the Annual Angel Fund we are able to bridge the difference through your donations. In order to meet the goal of providing an excellent education in a faith-based community, we need 100% participation in the Annual Angel Fund.

We ask for $1200 per student donation but for each family to stretch and give what you can. Every gift makes a difference.

The Annual Angel Fund is the single most important fundraiser the school does each year, raising 75% of the additional funds needed to close the tuition and expense gap. In addition, it allows St Hilary to maintain and enhance our programs.

Highlights of programs and achievements:

• Spanish taught to all K-8 students
• An outstanding music program for all grades and an instrument program for grades 2-8
• A comprehensive technology program with a total of 130 computers, 95 laptops and 5 mobile carts
• Average overall Iowa State Board tests in the 91% percentile
• An excellent high school placement record
• Full time teaching assistants
• Specialists in Math, Science, Spanish, PE, Arts, Computers and 2 dedicated learning specialists which keeps overall ratio at 8:1
• A tuition assistance program to keep tuition affordable to create an inclusive, diverse school community
• Cross grade and whole school activities
• A state of the art Science lab and Science program
• Computer IT infrastructure
• Field trips for the 5th, 6th and 7th grades

The tuition shortfall is $1400 per student. Please do your part to continue to provide this excellent education to the students of St Hilary.
